Nokia wowed everyone gathered at the Nokia World 2013 with its trio of devices— the Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320 and the Lumia 2520 tablet. These devices come with a host of new features and the good news is all the WP8 devices in Nokia’s portfolio will be getting them with the forthcoming Windows Phone update dubbed ‘Lumia Black’.
This forthcoming update will bring apps like Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Camera, Nokia Beamer, new lock-screen and other new features. To remind you, the Camera app is an update to the Pro Cam app and it combines the functionality of the Smart Cam and Pro Cam into a single app. The Nokia Storyteller app automatically integrates the photos on one’s phone with HERE location information and collates a chronological picture journey on a map. Nokia Beamer lets users project documents, maps, location details or even the camera viewfinder from one’s phone to an HTML5 enabled screen.
As mentioned above, the update will arrive on Nokia’s WP8 devices including the 920 series and the 1020. While Nokia didn’t reveal an exact timeline for the roll out of the update, it is expected to arrive later this year.
