Nokia to launch music store on Asha phones in December

Back in August we exclusively reported about Nokia’s plans to launch its Music Store on the Asha devices. Moments back, at the ongoing Nokia World 2013 event in Abu Dhabi, the Finnish company made things official by announcing that it will indeed be bringing the Nokia Music Store to these Asha devices later this year.

The Music Store will arrive on the Asha 500 and the Asha 503 in December, followed by a release on the Asha 501 and Asha 502 early next year. As an introductory offer, Nokia is waiving off the subscription fee for a week giving users unlimited access to music. After a week, users will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs 50 for one week, Rs 100 for one month or Rs 250 for three months.
