Yesterday Micromax teased the Canvas Turbo, its forthcoming flagship, while unveiling Hollywood star Hugh Jackman as its new brand ambassador. But besides the millisecond glimpse at the device in the teaser ad, we have yet to see the device properly. Leakster MMXNewsaster has now posted a sketch that shows the form factor of the device clearly.
The sketch reveals that the Canvas Turbo will be the first device from Micromax to feature dual micro-SIM card slots. Additionally it reiterates the fact that the Canvas Turbo will flaunt a 1080p display along with featuring a 5-inch display and a 5-megapixel front camera. Other features likely to be included are 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, including all the software bells and whistles previously seen on the Canvas 4.
Considering the SIM card slots are on the side rather than on the rear panel, the Canvas Turbo could probably have non-removable battery, just like the Canvas Doodle 2. It is expected to be the most expensive device from the Micromax and will be placed just above the Canvas 4 and the Canvas Doodle 2. We are expecting it to be the first Micromax smartphones with a 1080p full HD display, which would compete with Gionee’s Elife E6.
