As we’ve previously reported, HTC is likely to launch the One Max next week at separate events in Taiwan and Hong Kong. With only days before the launch, HTC has seemingly teased the One Max through an infographic that talks about the power of three and how HTC’s three devices (including the soon-to-arrive One Max) is right up there with the best trios in history.
The infographic is cleverly done with each heading when abbreviated spell ‘HTC’ and each of the trio comes from famous works of music, film, literature, food and more. All of them are well known too so people will easily be able to relate to them. They include the likes of Three Amigos, Harry, Ron and Hermoine from Harry Potter, Batman, Catwoman and Robin from The Dark Knight Rises and Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 from the Star Wars Trilogy.
Though HTC hasn’t specifically named the One Max in the post or the teaser, the timing of it could only point at one possibility. From what we know of the device so far, the device is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. The phablet will sport a 5.9-inch 1080p display and will have a 3,300mAh battery inside. There’s even talk about the One Max being HTC’s first device to feature a fingerprint scanner ala the Apple iPhone 5S. Additionally, reports also talk about a Chinese model that will have dual-SIM capabilities and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
