Earlier this year, Xolo launched the Q700 and now it is on the verge of launching its successor. Named the Q700i, the mid-range Android device has been on some e-commerce sites in India for Rs 11,999.
In terms of specifications, the Q700i sports much the same specs as its predecessor bar a few upgrades. Like before, it too sports a 4.5-inch (960×540 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MTK6589W-M processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
Other features include are 4GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card, a 2,400mAh battery dual-SIM card slots and the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The photographic front is where we see some changes, as the Q700i features a bigger 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera as compared to a 5-megapixel and VGA camera on the predecessor.
