Micromax, India’s second largest smartphone vendor, is on a roll and after launching devices like the Canvas 4, the Canvas Doodle 2 and the Canvas Tab P650 in recent weeks, it is reportedly readying yet another new device. This new device supposedly called the Canvas Turbo A250 will be most expensive smartphone from the company and its first with a 1080p display, Nissat.org reports.
The web blog has got hold of a set of specifications and a couple of boot animation GIFs. According to the report, the Canvas Turbo A250 is said to flaunt a “phablet-sized” display with 1080p resolution and will be powered by a quad-core MT6589 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It is likely to run on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and will include all the software bells and whistles previously seen on the Canvas 4.
This is all the information that has leaked for now. Though there’s no official word, we expect the device to be priced around Rs 20,000, which is just above the Canvas 4 and the Canvas Doodle 2. In terms of competition it is likely to be up against the recently launched Gionee E6.
