We have been hearing rumors surrounding the Google’s next Nexus phone launch date, which has been assumed to happen sometime this month along with Android 4.4 KitKat. Now GSMArena has been tipped that the LG Nexus 5 will indeed be unveiled this month, on October 30, and can possibly be accompanied by the Nexus 10 tablet as well. It has also picked @evleaks post that has a picture with mention of a Wi-Fi variant of the Nexus 10 tablet, and is hinting towards its launch sooner than later.
These new Nexus devices are expected to run the recently announced Android 4.4 KitKat version, purported photos of which were leaked yesterday. As far as other features are concerned, the Nexus 5 is expected to come loaded with high-end specs with significant camera improvements.
Leaked benchmarks also suggest that it would be much better in performance than its current premium counterparts from other brands. It is likely to have a 5-inch 1080p display which is smaller than the 5.2-inch on the LG G2, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Google this time will most likely launch the Nexus 10 tablet in collaboration with Samsung. It is expected to come with a 10-inch display and pack in better specs than the original Nexus 10.
Though, the uncertainty on the launch date still pertains, it would be exciting to see how the company will price these new Nexus products in the market.
